Building a Chicken Coop

5 Star Review
Building a Chicken Coopwww.BuildingAChickenCoop.com is a resource for chicken coop builders or future chicken coop builders. We believe that a good set of plans is almost always worth the money. You save so much money building your own chicken coop, we think its worth a little extra money to save you some time and invest in a design that you may particularly like. Building a Chicken Coop is one of the websites that offers multiple sets of plans and they offer them for less than $30. If you're looking for a small chicken coop, you'll want to build the double story arc. If you want a medium size chicken coop (raising about 10 chickens), you'll want to build the large double story chicken coop arc. If you are going to be a full fledged chicken farmer and need a coop to hold 50 chickens, well, Building a Chicken Coop has an answer for that as well with their large premium chicken coop.Building a Chicken Coop Picture But building a chicken coop offers more than just chicken coop plans. They offer several other e-books to get you going with raising a healthy flock of chickens. Providing a great home for your chickens is a big part of raising healthy chickens. You want them to have secure places to sleep and nest. They need some place to run and roam which you can accomplish by free ranging or building a chicken run. You'll also want to make sure they eat well. So, how much is all this going to cost? That's one of the other benefits of Building a Chicken Coop, as they help you consider best positioning for your chicken coop, cheap materials and inexpensive ways to build nesting boxes.

Catawba DIY Coops

5 Star Review
Catawba ConvertiCoops LogoConverticoop is a home style country lovin' chicken arc. Overall, we can't say enough positive things about the design of the chicken arc. It's a favorite of our English counterparts. The thing about chickens is that they need to feel secure and going up into their tower like chicken house makes them feel secure (probably because they are much more secure in an elevated roost).Catawba Coop Image The "first floor" is designed to be a mini chicken coop run where chickens can hang out in the grass, peck at bugs and eat their food. The other advantage of the chicken arc is that it takes advantage of the A-Frame style. The a-frame gives your coop three sides instead of four. It also keeps it low to the ground. All of this means less wood required to build the chicken coop. The top of the a-frame makes a little attic for your chickens which gives them a cozy place to sleep and nest. Catawba coops has added a little flare to the chicken arc. They have also made your plight easier as a suburban chicken owner with the free download, "Keeping to the Letter of the Law".

Green Roof Chicken Coop

5 Star Review
Green Roof Chicken CoopGreenRoofChickenCoop.com has obvious advantages and the owners of this chicken coop know it as it is priced a little higher than the other chicken coops on the market. The plans are $34.95. However, we will say, in their defense, that a green roof requires a little more design and they had the chicken coop designed by an architect. This chicken coop is great if you have just a few chickens. We think this chicken coop is perfect for 2-4 chickens. Chickens like to snuggle up when they sleep and most of the time up to 10 chickens can share a nesting box. We picture this chicken coop blending with some landscaping housing some chickens in a nice suburban community with impatiens covering the roof. Of course, you can always plant some wheat grass which your chickens would love to eat as well. Overall, this chicken coop is easy to clean with easy access to the chickens and the nesting box. The instructions are step-by-step and extremely detailed.

If you have just a few chickens, this chicken coop may be perfect for you. Take a look:
